HOW IT ALL BEGAN
It all started in 2020 in Serge’s basement. For the first time Serge dared to record his song ideas with his acoustic guitar. Early on he asked friends and family for support for the other instruments. Through a momentum many tracks and more ideas were created. And lo and behold: A band was born!
This band project is pure passion. The only motivation is to have fun. None of us thought about an audience, because everything that was created was just for us. Nevertheless, in 2021 we came to the decision to share our results with the world. Maybe people out there will have as much fun listening to it as we had creating it.
WHO WE ARE
We are a bunch of guys from Germany (Frankfurt and Marburg area). Good friends and family. Serge, Chris & Sven are cousins. Manuel and Marco very appreciated friends. What unites us is experimenting in the creative field and the desire for similar music. Besides, all of us can sing and usually master more than one instrument.
OUR SOUND
An early listener once said the band sounds like Bon Iver vibes with War on Drugs guitars and Franc Ocean beats.

FIRST RELEASE IN SPRING 2022

We can hardly believe it, but the first song of Stellarhead will be released this spring. A music video is also already being planned. The first single is called „What I’m waiting for“ and gives the first impression about our sound. 90 percent was produced by the band itself. For the mix and further refinements there was the wonderful support of producer and friend Eugen Koop. You can expect spherical sounds, delay guitars, manipulated voices, a lot of noise and catchy melodies. The content of the lyrics is about the state of failure and the dare of a new beginning. Maybe the most fitting song for a first release. For us it’s exactly the dare for something completely new. Stay tuned!
FIRST LIVE SESSIONS IN 2022

Yes, we are rehearsing hard to play our music live this year. Of course it is questionable how the situation around Covid will develop. But as soon as possible, we will reveal dates here and on Instagram. In the meantime we keep rehearsing and plan to release some videos of acoustic sessions.
